Clipnic needs people of every shape, size and ethnicity, ages 1 - 101, to model in professional stock video clips and still photographs. These stock elements are sold online to print, video and web professionals around the globe through iStockvideo.com and Revostock.com.
Clipnic is currently looking for fresh, "real" faces, no previous acting or modeling experience necessary. We capture real people doing real things: working, playing sports, regular life activities. We also shoot traditional models and actors in our studio. Performers of all kinds are also needed: singers, dancers, jugglers, acrobats, clowns... anything you do, we might be interested in!
We either pay professional hourly rates or, if you prefer to have copies of your video/photo, we can work on a TFCD [Trade for CD or DVD] basis. Pay for every pre-booked session starts at $10/hour and goes up $1/hour for each rebooking to a max of $25/hour. Our TFCD arrangement means you'll model for us (with signed release forms) and we pay you with a CD or DVD of your photos/video.

First, email us. Shoot us an email just letting us know you think you have model potential. Include your name, age range, day time phone, if you've had any experience (which is not necessary, but it's good for us to know if you have) and at least one recent photo. We'll get back to you & if we think you have what we're looking for, we'll set up a meeting.
Second, we meet. We always like to meet prospective models in person before booking a shoot. That way we get a really good idea of who you are and what special somethin'-somethin' you can bring to Clipnic. If we decide to go forward, you MUST read, complete and sign several forms before we will book the shoot. We will not consider booking anyone who can/will not sign a release.
Third, we set up a shoot and videotape. Fill out and sign all your forms prior to arriving at the shoot. We shoot either on location in the Central Florida area or in our downtown studio. If you choose to be paid cash for your session, we pay you hourly for your work and settle up at the end of every session. If you choose the "Trade for CD/DVD" arrangement, we will contact you 2-4 weeks after all your photo/video shoot to arrange for you to come and pick up your CD/DVD.
Next, we process the video: edit, color correct, touch up, encode and upload - a whole lotta techie stuff that you don't need to worry about because we take care of it all.
Finally, the clips are sold as part of a huge online stock video and photo library (on iStockvideo and revostock) which sell to companies all over the world. You never know where your may end up - on tv (one of our clips is currently running on networks nationwide advertising the Sundance Channel and Universal HD), magazines or websites.... anywhere video or stills are used.
NOTE: To view the images we decide to sell from your shoot, go to the Clipnic portfolio on iStock and search for your shots (it always takes at least 2 weeks after the shoot for any images to show up and can take up to two months). There you can create a custom Lightbox of any/all images of you and use this as a free online portfolio (or just to send links to family or friends!). Read how to make an iStockvideo lightbox here.
